Yesterday, the upper respiratory sickness that was attacking Millyellen and Daughter caught up and they rested while Son and I (Drew) went back into Rocky Mountain National Park for a last drive through and short hike. We got back to the hotel mid-morning, packed up and drove to Garden of the Gods Park in Colorado Springs on our way to Alimosa - our base camp for Great Sand Dunes National Park. But more on those adventures later. Here are some shots of Son and my time in RMNP and an elk shot Millyellen took as we headed out of beautiful Estes Park, CO. This was the kind of place you could spend a month and not exhaust the possibilities.
It is all so beautiful. I am so glad you are getting to experience it together. Don't you feel close to God out there. Seeing those mountains moves me to tears and it touches my heart that you are all "in it". :)
